They say things like birthdays or anniversaries are when people realize the need for change. I got a big one this year.
On May 10th 2016, I noticed that I have spent 30 years of my life in the same hemisphere. And that needed to change. So I jumped out of a plane and booked a trip to Europe. Both experiences changed me and my outlook on life. Because I never thought I would do either.
You see, I’ve always been somewhat risk-adverse. I love to be on stage and in front of the camera, but the uncertainties and struggles surrounding those things scared me away. Instead, I found a steady job behind the scenes with okay pay and lots of security. But after 10 years, I wasn’t happy. My life was unfulfilling.
So I am making a change. Today. This blog is the start of my journey to be brave. To see the world. And maybe jump out of more planes.
Stay tuned for more on my adventures.
